Loloma News #15

Computer idea implemented

Dear donators

I hope you had a great start to the new year and decade.

From the point of view of our association we are
looking forward to another year with our Loloma lunch at the Uluinakorovatu Primary School.
We would like to express our gratitude in the name of everybody involved in the project on Beqa Island, particularly Christine Tawake and her team, the women from the village who prepare the meals and all the teachers who support the project. All of them say THANK YOU for the generous donations, we received during the last year.

Please excuse that I did not react to all the donations personally. I promise to do better in 2020…

For this time:

A very big
Thank You for all the small und big donations!

As you could read in the news from November 2019, we planned to buy some computers. Meanwhile, we bought the equipment and put it in operation before the end of the school year, which happens to be just before Christmas.
The students are very happy to have access to computers in their school, as Master Kiti told us. He hopes, that the new IT-infrastructure helps students to
prepare for continuative schools on the mainland.

Around Christmas, the students had their long summer holidays, but meanwhile they started with the new school year. According to Master Kiti, all students are very busy again.

Kind regards

Association Loloma, Anna Elisabeth Luescher
